Robert worked as an electrical engineer in the Aerospace industry before beginning his investment career in 1991 at Beutel Goodman. Most recently, Robert was V.P. Fixed Income at BMO Asset Management where he co-managed approximately $5 Billion in fixed income investments, including the $1.5 Billion BMO Bond Fund. Over the past 20 years he has successfully steered portfolios through two credit crises and numerous economic cycles.

Robert obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Queen’s University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) professional designation from the CFA Institute.
